Bank finishes higher in New York

The RG/BSX finished the week off by 5.83 points (0.24 per cent) at 2,350.80, with declines leading advances two to one, with the only two trade issues on Friday dropping the market 32.64 points or 1.37 per cent.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd fell $1.34 (21 per cent) to close at $5.05 on trading of 800 shares.
Also down was Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, by 45 cents (9.5 per cent) to $4.30 after 200 shares changed hands.
At week’s end, the day’s declines were tampered by the Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. closing 50 cents higher (1.5 per cent) at $33.00 after earlier in the week trading of 1,170 shares.
Overseas, the bank’s share price finished 25 cents higher (0.74 per cent) at $33.90, in half day trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
