Centennial Bermuda Foundation welcomes Terré Smith to new role
The philanthropic Centennial Bermuda Foundation has appointed a programme and operations manager to ensure awareness about its scholarships.
Terré Smith will support the day-to-day operations of Centennial and its grant review committees, board of directors, and board subcommittees.
Ms Smith will be responsible for data management of Centennial’s grants management system.
Allison Towlson, Centennial managing director, said: “In addition, to Terré’s operational role, Terré will co-ordinate all facets of Centennial’s scholarship programme, working closely with the scholarship committee to deliver their strategic initiatives and objectives.
“She will become the point person for parents, students, teachers, and counsellors, ensuring that the community has a clear understanding of our scholarships and access to our scholarship programme. In the role, she will also oversee grant administration, data reporting and more.
“Terré will be an instrumental part of our team and we are excited to welcome her.”
Ms Smith has a Bachelor of Science, Business Information Systems and Business Management from the University of East London, UK.
The foundation said it was adding to its team in order to be less reliant on third party contractor support.
