George Dowling III, the Mayor of St George, said: "Town traditions are an important element of the town’s cultural identity.
“As the only parish with a town, we cater to a broad range of audiences and have placed our focus on bringing the community together at an event that a child, parent, teen and senior can attend, enjoy and share as a special memory.”
Mr Dowling also urged attendees not to drink and drive, noting that the Bermuda Taxi Association has been asked to add extra taxis to ensure patrons can get home safely.
The celebration is scheduled to begin at 8.30pm at King’s Square, with the Onion Drop at midnight.
Parking will be available at the Tiger Bay car park.
