A health club raised more than $5,000 for a cancer charity.

Court House Squash and Wellness partnered with 30 companies this year to raise funds for Pals Cancer Care and recently presented the organisation with a cheque for $5,680.

The club’s general manager Alison Brook said: “Court House has always championed health promotion and advocates for the prevention of chronic diseases through health and wellness.

“As a team, we chose to support Pals Cancer Care in Bermuda, as the 40-year-old charity plays a critical role in caring for cancer patients and their families.”

The charity’s executive director Colleen English De Grilla said: “Pals is so appreciative of the wonderful donation given by Court House, especially during the holidays when there are so many worthy charities needing assistance. To have been chosen was an honour.”
