New Bermuda video game released
A new video game hits the shores of Bermuda.
Indie game studio Bermuda Island Games has just released Hidden Gems of Bermuda 2.
For any casual Match 3 or Candy Crush gamers, this is one you will definitely want to download.
Tori the tour guide takes you through each level to unlock secrets about Bermuda’s rich culture and sights to see. The game is free to play on Google Play and Apple’s App Store which includes in-app purchases.
It is 100 per cent designed by Bermudian artists, and Bermuda Island Games ensures that it stays true to the local theme, but targeted for a global audience.
Founder Adrian Lodge said: “I’m proud of my team for sticking through and working on this for the past year. We have received a great amount of feedback thanks to friends, beta testers and overseas vendors, who all want to see this game become a success.”
“Now that it has launched, this is not the end, but simply the first step as we look to improve the game based on user analytics, adding new features such as Web3 integration and localisation for EFIGS-BrPt (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese).”
To encourage any other Bermudian designers who are looking to join the video game development industry, Bermuda Island Games is also working on a new digital art course which will be available later this month.
Bermuda Island Games is the video game development branch of Supatone Ltd, a registered Bermudian company focusing on software development. https://bermudaislandgames.com/hiddengems2/
