Butterfield finishes down on the NYSE

A volume of 100 Butterfield shares traded on Tuesday
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 1.58 per cent on Tuesday to close on 2,273.19.
The Bank of NT Butterfield & Son fell 40 cents (1.26 per cent) on the NYSE to close on $31.33, as 100 of its shares changed hands.
Three-hundred BF&M shares also changed hands to finish at $22, up 4.8 per cent.
