Butterfield rises on BSX and NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 44.97 points at 2,385.7
Butterfield Bank shares improved by $1, or 2.8 per cent, to $37 after 2,352 shares traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up 80 cents, or 2.19 per cent, at $37.38.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 44.97 points, or 1.92 per cent, at 2,385.7, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 12.4 points, or 0.72 per cent, at 1,732.77.
