Seldon Woolridge, one of the organisers of the event, which runs from June 16 to 19, said an “epic Carnival” was being planned.

“Right now each band is launching and promoting their costumes and offerings for 2023 – this is what we call our launch season.”

The Nova Mas theme unveiled over the weekend was Rhythm Nation High Vibrations – with costumes inspired by different musical styles, including the beat of the Bermuda Gombeys.

Details on routes and other events planned for the holiday bash would “soon be available”, Mr Woolridge added.
