Police are investigating the sudden death of a female who was found unresponsive in the waters at Southlands beach.

The woman was found at the Warwick beach at about 4.45pm on Friday.

The Bermuda Police Service said in a post on its Facebook page: “She was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where sadly, she was pronounced dead by doctors a short time later.

“Foul play is not suspected at this time.

“No further information will be provided until all next of kin have been informed.”
