Online registration for the Convex End-to-End race has opened, organisers announced this week.

Mandy Shailer, the Bermuda End-to-End deputy chair, said: “There are lots of ways to participate this year with a range of start times throughout the day.

“Look out for our returning favourite water stops, and new additions, which always add to the fun of the day.”

The event will take place on May 6 with the full End-to-End starting at 7am in St George’s. The 14-mile Middle-to-End event will start at 10.30am at Point Pleasant Park in Hamilton, next to the Point House building.

The Fun Walk and Cycle, aimed at children and seniors as well as those who cannot commit a full day to the race, starts at 2pm from Beacon Hill in Somerset.

Anne Mello, the Bermuda End-to-End chair, said that paddleboarders, Opti sailors, and rowers from the Bermuda Rowing Association would participate for the first time.

She added they would join rowers from the Bermuda Pilot Gig Club and leave from St George’s at 7am.
