Search is launched to find Bermuda’s next musical stars
Entertainer Tony Brannon is launching a campaign to send the next Bermuda artist onto the global stage.Mr Brannon has teamed up with Freisenbruch for a hunt to find 12 to 15 artists who have written songs they believe are good enough to go international.Freisenbruch/Brannon Media will produce the tracks and ensure they are mixed by a top level international producer or engineer, according to a press release sent out by Mr Brannon.He stated: “The object is to find the next Bermuda artist/s and break them into the international market.”All selected artists will give FB Media the option to record their individual albums with a three to five album deal if FB gets them a major label; all artists will own 50 percent of their music and royalties after expenses are recouped.Mr Brannon said the ability to perform live is crucial and said potential stars could be asked to show what they can do in a private session.Sessions will take place in either Bermuda or the UK.
