Former United Bermuda Party communications consultant Don Grearson is doing press work for the One Bermuda Alliance.Mr Grearson is working as a freelance writer for the party which formed as an alliance of the UBP and the Bermuda Democratic Alliance in May.He left the UBP after four years’ service in January, as the then-official Opposition faced fund-raising difficulties.Mr Grearson, author of ‘USS Bermuda’, a book about America’s military establishment on Bermuda, worked for the UBP as a press officer and on party strategy.The OBA yesterday said he is not the party’s official press officer, and is asked to help on a freelance basis from time to time.Mr Grearson declined to comment when contacted by this newspaper yesterday.
