Dear Sir,

This is a response to the 13th November Letter to the Editor called “Bermuda is a great example”. Thank you Mr and Mrs Rees of Scotland for observing Bermuda’s “almost totally independent” qualities as a small country. I wish over 50 per cent of Us Onions would feel that way too.

I hope the figures from Scotland’s Independence vote was encouraging for you and other Pro-Independence Scots that the topic is revisited in this generation.
