Driving without due care and attention lands man in court
A man who overtook police officers, who then saw him weaving through traffic, has been disqualified from riding motorcycles for ten months.
Daeshun Pitt, 21, from Southampton, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The court heard that last April, Pitt overtook a police car on Front Street while traffic was travelling in the opposite direction.
He continued to weave through cars on Queen Street and Church Street until he was stopped by police.
In addition to the ban, Pitt was fined $1,000.
