Two “outstanding public officers” have been wished a happy and healthy retirement by David Burt.

The Premier commended Chris Farrow, the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of National Security, and Clerk to the Legislature Shernette Wolffe, who both step down this week.

“On behalf of the Government of Bermuda, I wish to thank PS Farrow and Mrs Wolffe for their service over decades.

“PS Farrow started as a trainee in the Ministry of Public Works and has risen through the ranks to now retire as a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security.

“Mrs Wolffe has served with distinction as the Clerk to the Legislature, modernising the office and providing invaluable advice and assistance to members of the legislature and the Public Service.”

He added: “Bermuda has been well served by both of them and as they close this chapter of their working lives. I wish them all success in retirement.”
