A: Yes, despite negative reviews for this season's plot lines and lower-than-usual ratings, the series' continuation was never an issue. Fox has announced that it will be around for two more years and that next season the show will vary the format a bit, shaking up the supporting cast and perhaps moving its location from Los Angeles.

A: She stars in a horror film called Rise: Blood Hunter, due for release in July; the comedy Watching the Detectives, due out later this year, in the comedy Rockett, with Jimmy Fallon and Sharon Stone; she provides a voice fohe animated Kung Fu Panda, due out next year; and she plans to star in a new version of the classic film revolving around Asian detective Charlie Chan — she will play his granddaughter. She also stars in a new TV comedy called Cashmere Mafia, premiering oBC s fall.
Q: I think actor Dennis Quaid is adorable. What is he doing next? — F.B.
A: He's becoming a father again, for one thing; he and wife Kimberly are expecting twins by a surrogate mother. He has several films due for release: the thriller Vantage Poi/I>, the drama Smart People and the mystery The Horsemen. He's also lending his voice toe animated film Terra, starring in the football-based drama The Express, now filming, and preparing to shoohe musical drama Shame on You, which he also wrote and will direct.
Q: I think actress Eva Mendes is so beautiful. What is she doing? — N.C.
A: She stars in an upcoming comedy aboreality TV called Live! and in a crime drama called We Own the Night, due out in October, with Robert Duvall, Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlberg. Currently she'slming the thriller Cleaner, with Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris, to be followed by another thrillcal Curve.
Q: Is Shirley MacLaine still acting? I always thought she was so good. — A.Q.
A: She is; the 73-year-old Oscar winner stars with Mischa Barton in an upcoming romantic drama called Closing the Ring and is planning to co-star with Olympia Dukakis a crime comedy called Poor Things.
Q: Is Justin Timberlake dating Scarlett Johansson or Jessica Biel? — K.P.
A: Given the lightning speed of celebrity hook-ups, it all could change by the time you read this, but Johansson seems to have moved on, and Biel was recently spotted with Timberlake in England, where they held hands while walking through a hotel. So that would seem to put Biel in the romantic spoat least for now.
Q: I read that Bobby Brown is suing Whitney Houston. Is he trying to get the rest of her money? — K.L.
A: Given Houston's recent troubled times, her financial assets probably wouldn't be the target of any lawsuit. Her equally troubled ex-husband Brown is suing to revise the custody arrangements for their teenage daughter, Bobbi Kristina; apparently Brown didn't respond to Houston's petition for sole custody in a timely fashion after the break-up, and he's now trying to change it to joint custody.
