Sign unveiling pushed back due to forecast of bad weather

Plans to formally unveil a 40ft-long Bermuda marquee sign on the Hamilton waterfront have been pushed back because of bad weather.
The unveiling was scheduled to take place tomorrow to coincide with May 24, a date that has historically marked Bermuda Day.
However, the City of Hamilton announced they would push the event back until 8pm on May 31.
A spokeswoman said: “The public is encouraged to join the City next week at Harbour Night to celebrate the occasion.”
The Bermuda sign, designed by Keeon Minors of digital marketing agency Lead X Design, extends along the waterfront and features a range of artistic elements intended to highlight Bermuda’s culture, heritage and traditions.
