In Women’s Division action, Western Stars Angels made light work of PHC Zebras when winning 19-4. Leading the way for the victorious team was Jessie Ewart, who drove in four runs while Cassandra Trott, Keisha Eve and Terry Paynter each contributed with 2rbi. PHC scored all four runs in the top of the first inning and went ice cold thereafter.

Hardknockz 9 Rainbows 8

Hardknockz managed to squeeze through with a win after coming from behind in a tight affair. Rainbows were comfortably ahead 8-1 after four innings but Hardknockz exploded for four runs in the bottom of the fifth and seventh innings to pull off a nail-biting win.

Platano Power 22 The Hit Factory 8

In A Division action, Platano Power flexed their muscles to overpower The Hit Factory. Jay Tauarez belted a grand slam and finished with seven rb,i while Elvis Torres, Albert Acevedo, Juan Salas and Carla DeLeon each chipped in with 3rbi. The Hit Factory’s Mackih McGowan and Sean Burgess led the line with 2rbi each.

Team Smokey 21 Hakuna Matata Lions 3

Hakuna Matata Lions remained undefeated in the B Division with three wins as they battered Team Smokey behind Stephen Smith’s 6rbi, which included a grand-slam, and Brian Hall’s two for two with a three-run homer. Jason Ming drove in a run and was a perfect two for two in a losing cause.

King Beachers 20 Paraquet Flyers 10

King Beaches took their record to three wins and one loss when they overcame Paraquet Flyers.

Richard Campbell stroked two three-run homers and John Rolph homered twice while driving in five runs, while Les Dzwenka had a solo blast and 3rbi to lead King Beaches.

Manuel Herrera had three home runs, driving in five runs and Josh Bang assisted with 3rbi to top all Paraquet batters.

Mike’s Trucking 11 Raggamuffins 8

In C Division action, Mike’s Trucking took a liking to the number eleven as they defeated Raggamuffins and later in the week were victorious over Corp of Hamilton 11– 7.

Carlos Lima’s solo homer in the top of the six inning put Mike’s Trucking ahead 9–8 and proved to be the winning hit against Raggamuffins. Chris Pitcher also contributed going four for four (1d, 1hr – 4rbi).

Tony Bicchieri’s two-run blast for Raggamuffins in the bottom of the first inning was the highlight of their offensive output.

The win resulted Mike’s Trucking maintaining their unblemished record at the top of the division with four wins.

Beach Bums 16 Killawhat 6

Dylan DeSilva and Riley McLaughlin hit 2rbi each as Beach Bums outplayed Killawhat to hold the second-place spot with three wins and a loss.

Kenrick Richardson blasted a three-run shot in the fourth inning and offered the best resistance for Killawhat, who have found runs hard to come by in recent games.

Oddballs 15 Bad News Beers 11

In D Division action, Oddballs took control of the top spot when they held off Bad News Beers.

With the score tied at five after five innings, Oddballs scored four runs in the top of the sixth, including a grand slam by Curran Trenouth, and followed up in the seventh inning with six runs led by Adam Fenos’s three-run blast to lead 15–5.

Bad News Beers went down swinging as they plated six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to make the game interesting. Trenouth (7rbi) and Fenos (4rbi) did most of the heavy lifting for Oddballs while Jackson Tounie (3rbi) had the best offensive display for the Beers.

Five O’s 23 St George’s Cricket Club 14

Five O’s recorded their second consecutive win when they defeated St George’s Cricket Club.

Adam Mattatal (5 for 5 – 1d, 2hr, 5rbi) and Khalid Pitcher (5 for 5 – 3d, 2rbi) were the standouts in a balanced offensive performance by Five O’s.

St George’s Zeko Burgess (1hr, 5rbi) and Ja’Cal Washington (3rbi) were the most effective offensively in a losing effort.

BGA Hammers 27 Home None 17

In E Division action, BGA Hammers remain undefeated after their triumph over second-placed Home None.

Akil Smith (6rbi), Jay Fox (5rbi) and Todd Diziak (3rbi) were the heavy hitters for BGA. Home None’s Dario Flood (3 for 4 – 1t, 1rbi) and Satish Balenoran (2 for 3 1d, 1rbi) offered the best resistance from an offence that found the going tough.

EY Bermuda 18 Deloitte 17

In the battle of the accountants, EY Bermuda saw off Deloitte in a close-fought encounter.

In the final inning, Deloitte were gifted two runs by way of bases-loaded walks to tie the game at 17.

However, in the bottom of the inning, Craig Munden singled to drive in Adarsh Vijuyakumar from third base for the winning run. Munden (4rbi) and Su Lerita (2rbi) topped all EY batters while Samson Douglas (5rbi) and Jeet Singh (2rbi) were top for Deloitte.
