The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation is to present Think Like an Entrepreneur, an in-depth course with the aim of teaching entrepreneurs how to establish goals and manage risks.

The BEDC said the course, driven by the internationally recognised, award-winning Ice House Entrepreneurship Programme, would provide a challenging learning experience for all budding entrepreneurs.

It added that the curriculum drew on eight fundamental concepts that could empower anyone to success.

The course will be facilitated by Ray Lambert, the director of micro, small and medium enterprise.

He said participants would learn how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, identify and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities, establish goals, manage risks, and build a successful brand.

The eight-week course will be taught at the BEDC main office, weekly, on Tuesdays from June 20 until August 8, from 6pm until 8.15pm.

The course costs $325, which includes all course materials, the book Who Owns the Ice House? and access to an online learning portal.
