Thank you, Digicel
Dear Sir,
In my earlier letter, which you kindly published two weeks ago, my closing plea was to Digicel, asking them to “please restore the formerly great BTC telephone service Bermuda enjoyed for decades”.
I am pleased to report that I now have my BTC landline back. It was restored by BTC/Digicel technician “George” on October 31.
I returned the modem to Digicel on November 1, when I was told that my account with them was now closed. Please accept my thanks, Digicel.
It would be remiss of me not to say a heartfelt thank-you to “Valerie” of BTC’s helpline.
She really cared about my situation ... always patient and polite during my many phone calls over a period of several weeks.
Valerie worked tirelessly on my behalf with the relevant departments until the situation was resolved. I am most grateful for her invaluable help.
