Two thousand shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands. The stock closed at $30.20, up 60 cents (2.0 per cent) on the day.
For the week, the Index was up 30.63 points (1.36 per cent) on share volume of 200,736 and total turnover of $1,763,385.40.
Overseas, the bank closed up 18 cents (0.59 per cent) at $30.84 on the New York Stock Exchange.
