Liberty Mutual Bermuda hosts seven interns
Seven Bermudians have been taken on as interns at Liberty Mutual Bermuda, the company said in a statement.
The programme runs from May to September.
During their internships, each student is assigned to a different part of the business, working with teams to gain hands-on experience.
Brandon Tully and Logan Thompson, both returning interns, have been assigned to the property and energy underwriting team.
Aidan Williams is working for a number of different departments. Sophia Marsh is working for the financial lines department.
Kayla Henderson is working with the special risk team. Taya Rae Simons is working in claims, and Adam Smith is with risk and compliance.
“The summer interns have been quick to integrate with our company values and have worked collaboratively on various projects across teams.
“They have also shown great enthusiasm in upholding and being involved in our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives including Relay for Life, where we take pride in our 10-year lead sponsorship as well as our work volunteering at the Christ Church Warwick feeding programme since May 2020.
“We are proud of our interns' contributions to our charitable efforts and their active role in their internship at Liberty Mutual Bermuda,” said Steve Horton, company president.
Liberty Mutual Bermuda invites interested students to apply for the 2024 internship programme.
