Police launch investigation after 30-year-old man stabbed
A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the chest at a Pembroke home this morning.
A police spokesman said that at about 9.30am, emergency services were dispatched to a reported stabbing at a property on Overview Hill.
“Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a 30-year-old male victim who had sustained a stab wound to the chest,” the spokesman said.
“Officers provided first aid until EMTs arrived. The victim was subsequently transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment of his injury, which is not considered life-threatening.”
An investigation is under way.
