Joachim Bale joins Paratus Energy Services board
Paratus Energy Services has announced the appointment of Joachim Bale to its board.
The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said the appointment was effective August 30.
Mr Bale graduated from the University of Oxford, worked at Morgan Stanley for less than a year, and then spent time at McKinsey and Bain Capital, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He is currently listed as the founding partner of Lodbrok Capital, a London-based private equity company founded in 2016.
Paratus Energy Services is a holding company with three main businesses.
It wholly owns SeaMex Group, which has five jack-up rigs, all of which are currently being operated in Mexico, has 50 per cent of Seabras Sapura, which has six pipe-laying supply vessels, and owns about 24 per cent of Archer, an Oslo Stock Exchange-listed global oil services company.
In late 2022, New York Stock Exchange-listed Seadrill sold its 35 per cent stake in the company to three existing shareholders.
After the transaction, Paratus Energy Services is 32 per cent owned by Hemen Investments, 20 per cent by Lodbrok and 14 per cent by Melqart Asset Management.
