Police appeal for witness to two-car crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle collision in Smith’s, which injured three people, including two nine-year-old girls.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said that two cars travelling in opposite directions collided at about 3.10pm on Verdmont Road yesterday.

One driver, said to be a 20-year-old Hamilton Parish woman, as well as two passengers in the other vehicle, the two girls, were treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later discharged.

The man who was driving the girls, said to be a 45-year-old from Smith’s, was unhurt after the collision.

Both vehicles were damaged and towed away after the scene was processed.

Any witnesses to this crash who have not already come forward are urged to call 211.
