The driver of a car which hit another vehicle has been fined $800.

Rikeisha Cann, 37, admitted to driving without care and attention when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The court heard that Cann, from Sandys, was travelling west on Somerset Road on July 28 when she hit the car, which was signalling to turn right on to Huntley Lane.

In addition to the fine, Cann had eight demerit points added to her licence.
