Athene’s Bermuda College scholars recognised
Athene Holding Limited and Athene Life Re Limited have awarded five Bermuda College students the 2023 Athene Scholarship.
The scholarship covers books and tuition fees, and is available to Bermudians attending the college who have financial need and meet a minimum GPA requirement.
The scholarship supports students pursuing associate degrees in accounting, actuarial science, business, economics, finance, human resources, information technology, insurance and risk management, legal studies or mathematics.
The Fall 2023 Athene Scholarship recipients are: Paula Costa-Medeiros, business administration; Kirk Hyde, computer information System; Shiloh Robinson, business administration; Sari Smith, business administration; and, Shania Wedderburn, business administration.
Branwen Smith-King, interim president of the college, said: “Athene’s continued support enables distinguished students to focus on their studies by removing or reducing financial barriers.
“On behalf of Bermuda College, we want to thank those who made the past four years possible.”
