Robin Hood and Wolves to renew rivalry in FA Cup

Robin Hood and Wolves will do battle for the second time in three weeks in an FA Cup preliminary round clash at Goose Gosling Field tonight (9pm).

Hood edged their rivals 1-0 in a First Division encounter at the same venue on September 30, and tonight’s cup-tie promises to be just as evenly fought.

Both teams were victorious in their previous outings in the league, with unbeaten Hood prevailing 3-1 over Southampton Rangers, while Wolves beat Boulevard 4-2.

That match will be preceded by the all Corona League FA Cup preliminary round contest between Footy Kings and Tuff Dogs (7pm).

The competition continues tomorrow with unbeaten First Division leaders Devonshire Colts taking on Vasco at Police Field (2pm) and Somerset Eagles facing Boulevard in another all First Division affair at Somerset Cricket Club (2pm).

Elsewhere, St David’s face Corona League side Terrace Onions at Lord’s (2pm).

There is also a Premier Division make-up match tomorrow as Somerset Trojans host X-Roads Warriors at Somerset Cricket Club (4pm).
