Ghastly goings-on as BUEI hosts Hallowe’en Party
A host of bone-chilling games and entertainment will be offered at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute’s annual Hallowe’en Party this month.
Organisers of the event, scheduled to take place on October 28, urged families to get ready for a day “filled with spine-tingling activities designed for kids of all ages”.
This year’s line-up includes the Haunted Tunnel for children aged between 5 and 11, the Enchanted Dive and screenings of the Scooby-Doo, Where are You? series.
Back by popular demand is the Hallowe’en costume competition, with prizes up for grabs in categories including Scariest Costume, Most Original and Best Family costume.
There will also be performances by local dance troupes scheduled throughout the day including Jackson School of Dance at 11am, Vision Dance School at noon and In Motion School of Dance at 1pm.
A spokeswoman for BUEI said: “We are thrilled to once again host our annual Hallowe’en Party, providing a fun outing for children and parents alike.
“The funds raised from this event help support operational expenses.”
Attendees can secure a spot by getting presale bracelets for $20 or by purchasing them at the door for $25 on the day of the event.
Children under 2 and adults enjoy free entry.
