Carey Olsen partner named as top crypto professional
A partner at Carey Olsen Bermuda, Steven Rees Davies, has been named among the top 50 crypto professionals for 2023 by Citywealth, a magazine for private wealth management professionals.
He is the only Bermuda professional to have been named on the list which showcases the leading figures in the cryptocurrency and digital assets field and is compiled through independent research.
A statement from Carey Olsen said: “Citywealth has recognised Steven for his work on licensing, regulatory permissions and token redeeming and issuing.
“Widely regarded as an expert in the fintech and digital assets space, Steven has advised on a number of ground-breaking matters including a recent first-of-its-kind Bermuda digital asset business license for Mountain Protocol.
“Additionally, he has received recognition through his inclusion as a Leading Individual in The Legal 500 Caribbean and a Rising Star Partner in the IFLR1000 rankings.”
