Bermudian lawyer Max Tetlow returns home
Lawyer Max Tetlow has returned home to work in the Bermuda office of Carey Olsen.
Mr Tetlow, counsel at the firm, has been working in the organisation’s London office for two years.
The firm said Mr Tetlow advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law in Bermuda, with a particular focus on the (re)insurance, investment funds, financial services and private equity sectors.
In his finance practice, the firm added, Mr Tetlow advises a range of clients on matters related to lending and financing including acquisition, asset and fund finance, in addition to advice relating to debt issuances and regulatory capital for insurance companies.
Michael Hanson, managing partner of Carey Olsen Bermuda, said: "Since joining the firm a little over two years ago, Max has demonstrated an exceptional level of client service and has contributed greatly to the success of our corporate department, which is our fastest-growing team.
“His return home is both timely and welcome, and Max is now among a dozen or so Bermudians we have enticed back into private practice in Bermuda."
Mr Tetlow said: "Having now moved back home to Bermuda, I look forward to working more closely with the team of talented lawyers we have based here.
“The corporate department is growing at an exceptional rate as we continue to offer our clients a high level of expertise and commercial solutions. I am excited to be a part of that journey and our firm's unique culture."
