Two local firms are celebrating top rankings in the latest edition of a highbrow legal research publication.

Conyers and Appleby have received multiple top-tier ratings in Legal 500’s 2024 Caribbean Guide, a directory providing in-depth analysis and commentary on legal services worldwide.

Appleby held Tier 1 in banking, finance and capital markets, corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, insurance/reinsurance, regulatory and compliance, and trusts/private client.

The Conyers Bermuda office maintained Tier 1 rankings across the categories of banking, finance and markets, corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, insurance/reinsurance, and trusts/private client.

A spokesman said Appleby continues to be the only firm in Bermuda ranked Tier 1 across all of these six practice categories in Legal 500’s 2024 Caribbean Guide.

Appleby also said Legal 500 recognised 32 lawyers across the six categories, with 14 lawyers specifically ranked in the Leading Individuals, Next Generation Partners or Rising Stars categories.

Conyers lawyers were also recognised.
