The RG/BSX Index closed on Friday unchanged at 2,144.75 after a day of no trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
For the week, the Index was up 243.25 points (11.34 per cent) on share volume of 14,800 and total turnover of $176,758.
The rise was driven by insurance stocks and Butterfield Bank.
The bank closed at $28, up $3.95 (16.4 per cent) after trading of 500 shares for the week.
A total of 10,000 Argus shares changed hands, closing unchanged at $6.20. BF&M finished $3.44 (16.3 per cent) higher at $24.49 on a volume of 4,300.
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed up 50 cents (1.81 per cent) at $28.12 on the New York Stock Exchange.
