Warwick teams dominate Knockout Cup finals fixtures
Warwick Academy could feature in five of the nine finals when the Bermuda School Sports Federation holds its annual knockout cup at the National Sports Centre’s North Field today.
Matches kick off at 11am and the action will go on with the last fixture to kick off at 6pm, as Bermuda’s budding footballers, male and female showcase their talent.
Manny Faria, the BSSF administrator, said both fields will be used as teams from primary and senior school battle it out to earn the title of 2023 school knock out cup champions.
“The Primary School and Middle School girls finals will feature smaller sided matches on the eastern fields, while the middle and senior school boys will be featured on the western field,’’ Faria said.
St George’s Preparatory and Prospect, the top primary schools in the B division, set the ball rolling when they face off in the final. St George’s Preparatory have gone undefeated thus far in the B division, while Prospect Primary finished the season with only one defeat to the former.
