Court House supports Mirrors
Court House Squash and Wellness has made a $4,500 donation to the Mirrors Alumni & Friends Association.
The Hamilton facility holds a members’ Christmas party annually, with proceeds from ticket and raffle sales going to charitable partners.
Court House said local companies donated raffle prizes, contributing to the charitable gift.
Mafa was chosen, Court House said, in support of its Mirrors programme, which empowers young people and adults to reach their potential through personal transformation that promotes healthy relationships.
Alison Brook, general manager of Court House, said: "We are thrilled to have made a contribution towards the Mirrors programme this year. We value the emphasis that is placed on youth and the empowering experiences that Mafa offers year-round.
"We recognise the importance of Mafa’s continued mission for creating positive life outcomes for youth in the areas of education, employment and criminal justice.”
Joshua Wilson, co-chairman of Mafa, added: “On behalf of Mirrors Alumni & Friends Association, we thank Court House for the generous donation towards safeguarding our youth.
“It is contributions like this that allow us to realise our mission of transforming young people’s lives and strengthening our community. The funds will support students in the upcoming programme.”
