Butterfield closes up $1.26 on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index closed up 36.04 points (1.60 per cent) to finish at 2,291.25 on Wednesday, with a turnover of $829,293.
BF&M Ltd saw 18,000 shares change hands to close at $25.50, up $1.01 (4.8 per cent) while 12,900 Butterfield Bank shares moved to end the day at $30.50, an increase of 50 cents (1.7 per cent).
On the NYSE, Butterfield Bank finished the day at $32.16, up $1.26 (4.08 per cent) with 216,416 shares trading.
