Michael Tate joins Aspen

Bermudian-based Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd has appointed Michael Tate as Inland Marine, head of product and underwriting.
He will be based in Chicago and report to Josh Jennings, SVP, head of Inland Marine and Property Programmes.
In this newly created role at Aspen, Mr Tate will be responsible for the design, implementation and execution of insurance solutions related to the US Inland Marine business.
He also will be actively engaging with brokers on their appetite, risk management and digital underwriting needs, as well as collaborating closely with Aspen’s First Party lines of coverage.
Prior to Aspen, Mr Tate served as chief underwriting officer at Berkley Fire & Marine since 2021.
