Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Everest Group, Ltd has established a dedicated global specialties business across aviation, marine, cyber, engineering and parametric solutions under the leadership of Phil Taylor, who has been appointed head of Global Specialties.

Mr Taylor is a seasoned industry leader with more than 25 years’ experience across specialty business lines. Before his position as global head of Aerospace for Everest Reinsurance, he managed sizeable aviation portfolios, most recently at Liberty Specialty Markets.

He also served in various roles including deputy unit head at AXIS Re and spent more than a decade at Aon, most recently as a specialty lines broker.

Mr Taylor will report to Jill Beggs, head of North America and Global Specialty Reinsurance.
