Motorist injures man by driving without due care

A motorist caused a man grievous bodily harm by riding his bike in Pembroke without due care and attention.
Howard Mello, 45, from Pembroke, admitted the offence when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The incident that injured Kali Williams occurred along Mills Shares Road on January 3, 2022.
Magistrate Tyrone Chin ordered that a social inquiry report be written for Mello, adjourned the case to February 26 for sentencing and extended his bail until that time.
