London Market Group has appointed two new board members as representatives of the different market associations for 2024.

Jane Warren, active underwriter for Liberty Specialty Markets’ Syndicate 4472 and UK branch manager for its European business, will step onto the board as the representative of the Lloyd’s Market Association.

Claire McDonald, member of the executive board for HDI Global SE, will join as chairwoman of the International Underwriting Association.

Sean McGovern, chairman of the London Market Group, said: “Our work is better focused and informed by the input we get from the senior market figures who give up their time to guide the work of the London Market Group, so we are grateful that Jane and Claire are joining the LMG board.

“I would also like to express our sincere thanks to our departing board members, Matthew Moore and Phil Hobbs for their contributions.

“I particularly wish to thank Matthew for the role he played as chair of the LMG for a number of years.”

As a marketwide body, the LMG brings together the specialist insurance and reinsurance broking and underwriting communities in London.

The LMG is supported by the International Underwriting Association, Lloyd’s of London, the Lloyd’s Market Association and the London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association.
