This is an interesting time of year for Fantasy managers with the Premier League transfer window set to close on Thursday and players on international duty at the Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations slowly trickling back into contention.

Kevin De Bruyne and Diogo Jota are two stars to watch out for this week and are two of the three most-transferred midfielders ahead of this gameweek.

Tuesday

Nottingham Forest v Arsenal (3.30pm)

Nottingham Forest’s Nuno Tavares is ineligible to face his parent club, while Serge Aurier, Willy Boly, Moussa Niakhate, Ola Aina, Cheikhou Kouyate and Ibrahim Sangare are on international duty. Felipe, Taiwo Awoniyi, Anthony Elanga and Divock Origi are doubtful through injury.

Arsenal thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 in their last league match to end a run of just one win in their previous seven games.

Mohamed Elneny could return from international duty with Egypt, but Takehiro Tomiyasu is still with Japan at the Asian Cup. Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey are out through injury, while Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice are doubtful.

Fulham v Everton (3.45pm)

Fulham were eliminated from the FA Cup at home by Newcastle on Saturday after going out to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup three nights prior.

Calvin Bassey, Fode Ballo-Toure and Alex Iwobi are all on international duty, Adama Traore is out with a hamstring injury, while Matthew Dibley-Dias is doubtful

Everton have won just once in their last five league games and are without Idrissa Gueye, who is on international duty. Dele Alli and Abdoulaye Doucoure are out through injury, while Andre Gomes and Seamus Coleman are doubtful.

Luton Town v Brighton & Hove Albion (3.45pm)

Luton have taken seven points from their last five games. Issa Kabore remains on international duty while Marvelous Nakamba, Jacob Brown, Mads Juel Andersen and Tom Lockyer are out to injury or illness.

Brighton have suffered just one defeat in their previous seven league matches. Simon Adingra and Kaoru Mitoma are on international duty, while Joel Veltman, Solly March and Julio Enciso are out with knee injuries. Ansu Fati is a doubt.

Crystal Palace v Sheffield United (4pm)

Crystal Palace are edging closer to the relegation zone with just one win from their last ten league matches.

Jordan Ayew could make his first appearance since returning from the African Cup of Nations. Joel Ward and Cheick Doucoure are out through injury, while Rob Holding and Michael Olise are doubtful.

Sheffield United scored the latest goal in Premier League history when Oli McBurnie converted from the penalty spot to grab a point against West Ham in the 103rd minute.

Rhian Brewster is suspended for three games after being sent off against West Ham. George Baldock, Chris Basham and John Egan are out through injury, while Daniel Jebbison, Max Lowe and Tom Davies are doubtful.

Aston Villa v Newcastle United (4.15pm)

Aston Villa have lost just once in their last ten games but have lost Bertrand Traore to international duty. Tyrone Mings, Emiliano Buendia and Jhon Duran are out to injury, while Lucas Digne, Pau Torres and Jacob Ramsey are doubtful.

Newcastle have suffered four straight league defeats. Nick Pope, Matt Targett, Elliot Anderson and Joelinton are out through injury, while Joe Willock, Harvey Barnes, Callum Wilson, Jamaal Lascelles, Miguel Almiron and Kieran Trippier are doubtful.

Manchester City v Burnley (3.30pm)

Manchester City are unbeaten in their last five but are without Manuel Akanji (knock) and have doubts surrounding the fitness of Erling Haaland.

Burnley have the second-worst form in the division, taking just four points from five matches. Luca Koleosho is out with a knee injury, while Jordan Delcroix, Jordan Beyer and Charlie Taylor are doubtful.

Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford (3.30pm)

Tottenham are without Yves Bissouma, Pape Sarr and Heung Min Son, who are on international duty. Alfie Whiteman, Giovanni Lo Celso, Manor Solomon and Alejo Veliz are out with injury, while Ryan Sessegnon is doubtful.

Brentford edged Nottingham Forest in their last league match, with Ivan Toney scoring on his return from suspension.

West Ham have won six and lost just one of their last ten games. Mohamed Kudus should be back from international duty with Ghana, but Said Benrahma and Vladimir Coufal are both suspended. Nayef Aguerd is on international duty with Morocco; while Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio are out.

Bournemouth have suffered consecutive defeats after a run of six wins in seven matches. Dango Outtara is on international assignment with Ryan Fredericks, Max Aarons and Tyler Adams out injured. James Hill and Adam Smith are doubtful.
