SRS expands European footprint
Strategic Risk Solutions, the independent insurance company manager with an office in Bermuda, has agreed to acquire Robus Group from The Ardonagh Group, subject to regulatory approval.
Operating from Guernsey and Gibraltar, SRS said, Robus provides professional management services to captive insurers, open market insurers and reinsurers, insurance intermediaries, MGAs, ILS fund managers and other corporate entities around the world, supporting their risk management and strategic business objectives.
“Robus coming over to SRS makes great sense because we share so much in our philosophies that pertain to our clients and the industry as a whole,” said Peter Child, CEO of SRS Europe.
“I am thrilled to welcome Steve Quinn and his Robus colleagues to our team and am confident that this relationship will give us an even stronger platform from which to deliver our best-in-class insurance management services.”
Mr Quinn, executive chairman, Robus Group said: “Joining a business that is renowned for its specialist insurance management solutions is the natural next step in the development of our business.
“Robus has been on a remarkable journey over the past few years with Ardonagh, which will remain an important trading partner.
“We’re excited to now work with SRS, a business that shares our same high standards of service, as we continue to deliver some of the best possible captive management solutions available on the market.”
In addition to Bermuda, SRS has operations in the United States, Canada, Europe, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Latin America and South Africa.
