Adam Hall completes move to Winnipeg Goldeyes
Adam Hall has sealed a move to the Winnipeg Goldeyes ahead of the upcoming American Association of Independent Professional Baseball League season.
The Bermudian-born outfielder joins the club from the Baltimore Orioles, where he spent six seasons in their system after being chosen in the second round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft out of AB Lucas Secondary School in London, Ontario.
During his time in the Orioles’ system, the 24-year-old who also featured for Aberdeen IronBirds and Delmarva Shorebirds, reached as high as AAA with the International League’s Norfolk Tides in 2022, the highest level of the Minor League.
He has converted to the outfield in the past two seasons after spending most of his career at second base or shortstop.
“Adam is a former second-round pick who brings a lot of ability to our team,” said Goldeyes manager Logan Watkins. “The fans can expect to see a fast, versatile player who is eager to play his best baseball coming off an injury.
“We look forward to seeing what this season brings for Adam.”
Hall has a career batting average of .279 with 61 doubles, 11 triples, ten home runs, and 118 runs batted in. He was also part of Canada’s junior team and participated in the 2015 Under-18 Baseball World Cup.
