A free event next weekend will showcase summer day camps.

This year’s Day Camp Expo, called “Get ready, get set, summer is on its way”, will take place at the Bermuda College on March 3.

Owen Darrell, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, said: “Whether your child is passionate about art, dance, sports, Stem or more, this event will connect you with the perfect camp that aligns with their interests and talents.”

A statement added that attendees can win prizes throughout the expo, which will take place from 1pm to 4pm.

Mr Darrell added: “We believe every child deserves a summer filled with adventure, learning and fun.

“The Day Camp Expo is a bridge between families and day camps available in our community.

“We encourage everyone to join us for this free event that is open to all."
