The RG/BSX Index closed on Friday at 2,368.41, up 134.09 points (6 per cent).
Some 2,200 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $32, up $2.50 (8.5 per cent).
For the week, the Index was up 154.53 points (6.52 per cent) on share volume of 47,900 and total turnover of $887,670.
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed down 12 cents (0.40 per cent) at $29.77 on the New York Stock Exchange.
