Some 1,000 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $30, down $1.99 (6.2 per cent).
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed up a penny (0.03 per cent) at $29.88 on the New York Stock Exchange.
