Charities receive funds from Black History Month fundraiser

The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club has donated a portion of funds raised at its Sixth Annual Black History Month dinner to charity, it was announced on Monday.

The three charities — Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Adult Education School and Women’s Resource Centre — each received $2,000.

The charities were selected by the hotel’s Black History Month honourees, Terry-Lynne Emery, Carika Weldon and Malcolm Brock.
