The RG/BSX Index closed on Wednesday at 2,269.75, down 53.10 points (2.29 per cent).
Some 800 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $30.01, down 99 cents (3.2 per cent)
Overseas, the bank closed down 35 cents (1.10 per cent) at $31.38 on the New York Stock Exchange.
