Deadline for scholarship and awards applications extended
The deadline for applications for government scholarships and awards has been extended until Monday.
The Ministry of Education allocated $2 million for scholarships and awards in the 2024-25 Budget.
A ministry spokeswoman said: “For students currently studying abroad or planning to attend Bermuda College or colleges overseas, we wish to emphasise that it’s not too late to apply online, and the process is straightforward.
“The Ministry of Education understands the importance of providing opportunities for Bermudians and offers various scholarships and financial awards.
“This includes the Further Education Award for students enrolled in postgraduate studies.
“We encourage students studying postsecondary education to apply for scholarships and awards to ease the financial burden on them and their families.”
