Motorcyclist injured in East End collision

A motorcyclist has been injured in a road crash in St George’s.

According to police, the collision, involving a car and a motorbike, took place at the junction of St David’s Road and Stocks Road at about 6.30pm yesterday.

The male motorcycle rider suffered a serious leg injury and was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The woman driver of the car was not reported to be injured, but both vehicles were extensively damaged.

The roadway was closed for approximately two hours while the scene was forensically processed.

In a separate incident yesterday, a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after a collision with a taxi in Paget.
